Strong Family Traditions at the Hess Mobile Museum

December 3, 2014

The Mobile Museum made its final stop in Pennsylvania at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey, PA, and auto lovers and families alike came out to enjoy the Hess Mobile Museum’s impressive collection.

Families traveled from near and far to celebrate the Hess Toy Truck tradition. Said one fan, “We drove all the way from Michigan for a family trip to beautiful Hershey, and to see the museums this holiday season!”

Some Douglassville residents came back to the Mobile Museum, excited to see this tour stop was snow-free.  One family took lots of family photos inside and around the Museum – the Hess inflatables especially made for great family pictures! Another dedicated fan spent three hours visiting the stop, documenting every detail of the Museum so that his hospitalized father could experience the museum.

It was a heartwarming day for one fan who was able to see the Mobile Museum despite being handicapped in a wheelchair.

“I am so pleased that the museum is handicap accessible!” his mom said. “My son has spent his whole life in this wheelchair, and he would never have been able to appreciate the museum if it weren’t for your design of this amazing RV! He will be talking about today for years and holidays to come!”

As the Mobile Museum continues its trek, its next stop is in North Carolina.
