Social Media Love
November 26, 2014
The Pennsylvania leg of the Mobile Museum is off to a great start with two wonderful visits at the Please Touch Museum over the weekend. Not only are fans enjoying what they see, but they’re taking home some of the action as well. One woman bought online as many Collector’s Edition Hess Toy Trucks as possible on Sunday at the Mobile Museum kiosk after seeing the special release toy inside the museum and deciding immediately that she had to get them for her grandchildren. Another fan brought his dog, who got his own pilot’s license photo with the green screen.
And the love doesn’t stop there. Hess Toy Truck fans are sharing their experiences on the toy’s social media channels:
Nancy Brandolini: We really enjoyed visiting the Mobile Museum today! Thanks to all who put this together. All of the staff there were so kind and made it a fun experience for us.
Belinda Oliver: We visited the museum today at Deptford Mall, and I loved it. Brought back a lot of memories, especially with the one wall where it talked about the trucks coming out Thanksgiving morning!
Dyann Tufts: My son loved it! Thank you for a great free event!
Anita Holland: This was a great place to see what Hess has done over 50 years. My grandson Andrew thought it was awesome.
April Smiteman: Took my son to this yesterday, he loved it and even won a miniature truck.
Michael Sortino: Just got back from it and my daughter and I loved it. Lot of good memories. And thanks to the workers for being courteous and patient.
Kia Baker: @hesstoytruck my toddler won a truck today at the @pleasetouch ! Thanks! she said, “Mommy, I’m a winner!”
