One Lucky Fan Will Be Chosen to Appear in Iconic Holiday Commercial!
NEW YORK, March 12, 2019 – Hess Toy Truck, one of America’s best-selling and longest running toy brands, today announced its first-ever nationwide contest to choose one lucky fan to appear in the 2019 Holiday Hess Toy Truck commercial.
For over 30 years, the annual toy commercial has featured children singing the famous jingle, “The Hess Truck’s Back and It’s Better than Ever,” to introduce each year’s highly anticipated new toy model. Well-known actors John Goodman and Hayden Panettiere appeared in the commercials early in their careers.
Officially launching on Instagram today, the contest will run through April 15, 2019. The grand prize winner’s child, who will be selected in May, will earn a spot in the 2019 Hess Toy Truck national commercial, while the top nine runner-up finalists will win exclusive silver editions of the holiday truck.
To participate, contestants must be 18 or older, follow @HessToyTruck on Instagram and post a :15 to :30-second audition video of their child (who must be between the ages of six and fourteen).
