Visiting the Happiest Place on Earth

December 15, 2014

This weekend, the Hess Mobile Museum made stops in Orlando, Florida and at Walt Disney World® Resort. Hess fans across Florida were surprised and delighted by the collection.

At the Orlando Hess Express stop, a firefighter fan told Mark and Jamie, “I have been a collector ever since I became a fireman here in Florida. I collect them every year for my firehouse and I also raffle off one to children at schools where I teach fire awareness classes!”

Another fan, a retired Hess employee, was truly touched to see the collection. He said, “I watched families come into my stores for years and buy the trucks. It was always my favorite time of year to see the kids’ faces light up when they came into the stations to buy the trucks!”

On Saturday at the Walt Disney World® Resort, Downtown Disney® was abuzz with fans equally exited to see Mickey Mouse and the Hess Mobile Museum.

One Daytona family told Mark and Jamie, “The kids are obsessed with getting the trucks and playing with them every single year, so for them to see Disney and the Hess Toy Truck full collection all in one day is mind blowing for them!”

Fans were excited to participate in the activities, prize wheel, and photo booth. One nostalgic fan decided he was going to pass down his childhood collection and start collecting Hess Toy Trucks again after seeing the excitement on his children’s faces after they walked through the Mobile Museum.
