The Hess Toy Truck Launches Tomorrow at The Strong museum in Rochester, NY

Please join the Hess Toy Truck Mobile Museum at The Strong museum in Rochester, NY, this Saturday! The launch of the 7-week East Coast tour promises to be an exciting experience for new and old fans. Inside the museum, fans of all ages can see the entire collection of holiday trucks since 1964, never–before-seen details about how the trucks are made and much much more. Outside of the museum will be an area full of activities for the whole family.

While the Mobile Museum officially launches tomorrow, a few lucky fans – as well as members of the press – got a sneak peek this past week when the bus was parked in Rockefeller Center. Mark and Jamie, the Mobile Museum hosts, got the chance to speak to a few fans and hear stories about their favorite toy trucks, which ones they remember as children and when they started buying the toy trucks for their kids and grandkids.

Mark and Jamie can’t wait to hear so many more of these stories from fans from Massachusetts down to Florida starting tomorrow. Fans also can share in the experience via social media with the hashtag #HessMobileMuseum. The Mobile Museum will make several stops in Upstate New York over the next week before returning to the New York City metropolitan area. Upcoming stops for the Mobile Museum are the following:

  • Tomorrow: The Strong museum in Rochester, NY, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: Hess Express in Henrietta, NY, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Hess Express in Farmington, NY, 4:30-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Hess Express in Slingerlands, NY, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Hess Express in Rotterdam, NY, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
