MetLife Stadium Round Two a Touchdown!
November 19, 2014
The Mobile Museum made its second appearance at MetLife stadium on Sunday greeting Hess Toy Truck enthusiasts, collectors and Giants fans.
A young fan stopped by the museum and showed tour managers Mark and Jamie all the Hess Toy Truck clippings he’s been collecting announcing the Mobile museum in his area. He prompted the managers to ask him Hess trivia and nailed all their questions. Before leaving he showed them a picture of his Halloween costume – a full body, ride in, homemade Hess Toy Truck that even lit up!
An older couple visited the museum and explained that they were introduced to the Hess Toy Truck by Leon Hess himself. They were enjoying dinner one night when Leon sat down near them. Their conversations crossed and Leon introduced himself. They later joined their tables and have been Toy Truck fans ever since.
A young girl explained while she wasn’t into trucks she was very excited about the coloring station. She made cards for a local children’s hospital while her two older brothers explored the museum.
The next leg of the Mobile Museum’s 7-week tour continues into Philadelphia where stops include the Please Touch Museum, King of Prussia mall and many more!
