The Hess Toy Truck is back and ‘better than ever’ for our sixtieth year! The 2024 Hess Fire Truck with Car and Motorcycle, packaged in a specially marked product box, commemorates our milestone anniversary as the official 60th Anniversary toy. In celebration, this new heroic emergency response trio is the most feature-packed holiday Hess Toy Truck team ever - loaded with an array of animated lights, sounds, motors, and chrome detailing.

The classic red, cab-forward, aerial ladder Fire Truck is remarkably embellished with white body side striping, glistening chrome details, emergency light bar, searchlights, and a towering ladder. Each of the 4 cab-top buttons activate a unique realistic sound (truck horn, European emergency siren, traditional emergency siren, engine start/idle) synchronized with a different animated light pattern. A switch on the chassis underside enables the truck’s 43 brilliant red, white & blue emergency lights to operate in steady or flashing mode. The triple-tier aerial extension ladder, with click-turn 360Ëš rotation and 60Ëš elevation, extends to over 15”. The ladder is flanked by two super bright multi-directional searchlights, each with click-turn 180Ëš vertical and 270Ëš horizontal rotation for maximum search visibility. Two illuminated transport holds house the fire chief car (accessed through a button release rear lift gate and a pull-out ramp which triggers a motion-activated hydraulic sound) and the motorcycle (which can be accessed with a quick press of a button above the dual-purpose fold-down ramp doors on either side of the truck). As the official 60th Anniversary Hess Toy Truck, a special commemorative illuminated ‘60’ insignia is embedded into the front grille and embossed on each of the side ramp doors.

The red Fire Chief car sports ‘racing-style‘ white striping. Completing the sleek design is a rear spoiler, tinted windows, and chrome accessories - including emergency light bar, front and rear bumpers, and wheel covers. A switch on the underside of the chassis activates the 37 multicolor grille, bumper, emergency, and side running lights in steady mode. The speedy pull back motor propels the car for a quick response to any emergency!

The red rescue-style motorcycle carries a rider clad in a safety suit with contrasting white piping and chrome firefighting backpack. A turn of the rider’s helmet activates the 4 head and taillights in steady-on mode. The ‘rev-and-release’ friction motor propels the high-speed bike forward in flat or wheelie position!

    2024 Hess Hits The Mark

I have to say this is one of best Hess truck release. The awesome lights, sounds, mobility such as the long extension of the ladder. Of course, the great 2 smaller vehicles with lights too. Well worth money spent. Another great Hess truck to my collection. My oldest Hess truck is from 1980. Looking forward to 2025.

    2024 Hess Toy Truck

As usual this was ordered as a gift but as best as I can see the packaging was in tact and well protective of the toy truck inside.

    60 Annv Hess toy

I have been purchasing these toys for my son for 30 years. Needless to say, he has become a collector and still enjoys receiving them as Christmas gifts. Thank you Hess for continuing the tradition and do consider bringing back some of the classics like the ship Merry Christmas to All.

    2024 60th Anniversary

My husband and I purchased the 2008 Hess truck for my 3 year old grandson. It’s been a tradition ever since. Every Christmas there is a Hess truck under the tree for him, he’s eighteen years old but still looks forward to receiving his Hess truck every year. I purchased the 2005 fire truck , his birth year. I also purchase the minis for my younger grandson. These trucks are always well made. I especially love the fire trucks.

Thanks for Shipping These Across the Country

I still remember when my dad brought home the Hess toy truck and racer for me back in 1991. It was hands down the best Christmas gift I received that year, and it lasted for years. I didn’t realize at the time how far my dad had to drive just to get to a Hess station until years later, when I made the same trip to buy one for my nephew and mail it to Colorado. A few years ago, I found a couple of these trucks in the basement and was thrilled to learn they could now be ordered online. Having moved to an area without Hess stations, I’m especially grateful for the convenience of online orders. Every year around this time, my parents ask if I got the latest truck, and honestly, I think they’re more excited about it than I am! I really hope Hess keeps making these toys for years to come so our family can continue this tradition each holiday season.

    2024 Holiday Truck

This is probably the best fire truck out of any Hess fire truck released in any other year. 2015 was awesome and so was 1989 (which was the last bank toy truck) however the bigger size overall, red color scheme and incredible array of lights and sounds are second to none. The emergency lineup since 2020 starting with the ambulance then Police Truck last year was a great and inspiring vision by Hess. Having said this because it doesn’t seem possible to go any further with more emergency vehicles in the coming years I would really like to see a vintage Hess tanker like 1990 or a Box Tractor Trailer in 2025. Just food for thought Hess design team.
