Does your kid want to be the next Hess Toy Truck star? Now's their chance! Enter our #HessCastMyKid contest where the Grand Prize is a trip for your kid to appear in our TV commercial! Plus, we're awarding a Silver Edition 2019 Hess Toy Truck to nine additional finalists!

Entering is easy! Just post your kid's audition video performing our iconic jingle, “The Hess Truck's Back and It's Better Than Ever,” on Instagram with the hashtag #HessCastMyKid and tag @HessToyTruck. Performing can include singing or lip-syncing!

Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. & D.C., 18 & older who are parents/legal guardians of children between the ages of 6 and 14. Begins 12:00 a.m. ET on 3/12/19 & ends 11:59 p.m. ET on 4/15/19. For the winner to participate in the 2019 Hess Toy Truck commercial, they must travel to Minneapolis, MN (along with their legal guardian). All entries will be reviewed for eligibility and scored. Contest Do's & Don'ts

Improve your chances of making it to the final round by following some of these simple tips:

  • DO watch our 2018 TV commercial for inspiration
  • DO have fun & get creative
  • DO ensure your child is between 6-14 years old
  • DO post your entry video by April 15, 2019
  • DO make sure your Instagram account is public
  • DON'T post videos longer than 30 seconds!
  • DON'T show any toy truck other than Hess
  • DON'T submit any video that’s not family friendly
  • DON'T make it too complicated - it's about your kid!
