The larger, free-rolling, triaxle Modern Tanker pairs the first-ever matte-green body finish with a stunning, chrome-colored reflective finish that sparkles from every angle, enhanced by a remarkable array of multicolor lights that flash in 6 unique patterns. Realistic sound effects bring this already impressive toy to life, along with a cargo tank rear door and slide out loading ramp that allows for easy deployment of the Vintage Tanker.
The Vintage Tanker creates a powerful connection between the Company’s origins and its future. Inspired by the early Hess fuel delivery trucks, it features the premium matte green finish and yellow accents that ring true to the original Hess vehicles. I have been collecting these Hess trucks for years! This one is by far the best one. It is a great size much larger than the other ones. Very realistic, would love to see a Hess oil tanker on the road. Very cool! Thank you!

Have purchased collector's edition for several years. Never seen them but told the little boy loves the collection.

2026 Collector's Edition
It would have been much better if the shipping box wasn't abused and damaged. As a result the interior "collector's box" was damaged also. Even though the model appears to be undamaged, the showcase container is dented and wrinkled. In other words, the box is not showcase. I realize that I could have elected special handling at an extra cost, but since I've been buying the editions this is the first time a box has arrived and NOT handled with care. Therefore, it's not in mint condition
