For my Grandsons 2nd Birthday, he received his first Hess Truck. He wasn't sure on what to do, so his super smart Hess Truck Grand Dad turned on the lights and he lite up like a Christmas Tree. He played with the stock cars for hours until he fell asleep. These Vehicles by HESS are amazing. I have been collecting these since 1986. Very well made ,High quality parts, Amazing lights that never quit, Realistic sounds, Very well worth the price. Great for the young kids and the older collectors.

2025 Race Car Duo
Just received this year’s Hess Race Car Duo. We’ve been collecting these for 40+ years. All the bells and whistles are again on it but honestly all the plastic seems thinner and poor quality. Don’t know how it will hold up to grandkids playtime. Guess it’s become more of a shelf collection than an actual toy. They have always stirred the memories of rushing to the Hess gas stations to get one to put under the tree before they sold out. Highlight of Xmas morning watching them getting unwrapped and excitedly played with. The memories didn’t include what will they be worth 20-30 years from now as they’ll never be sold off. Played with yes. Will have to reassess next year’s purchase. Wish we could go back to more metal not plastic. This looks like a repeat of 2009 racers. Rather have true trucks and fuel tankers repeated. That’s my 2 cents worth on a $50 shelf collectible
